RESISTANCE Script Advances in The Script Lab Screenwriting Competition
RESISTANCE by Caitlin McCarthy has advanced to the Quarterfinals in The Script Lab Screenwriting Competition. The Script Lab had nearly 13,000 entries entered this season – that's over 1 million pages of story!
RESISTANCE has done well this year in competitions:
Caitlin McCarthy was selected to pitch RESISTANCE for the CANNESFILMS UNLIMITED’s Writers Residency in Cannes, France. Partners include Canal+, Vivendi, The Black List, Festival de Cannes, Université Côte d'Azur, and the City of Cannes.
RESISTANCE was a Semifinalist for The Black List x WIF Feature Writers Residency.
A reviewer for The Black List had this to say about RESISTANCE: "The narrative truly earns the designation of an epic, and by the end the audience is likely to feel as though they've been on a journey as well.... this script reads like a thoroughly viable production prospect with the potential to become a moving and compelling film."
