2022: Year in Review

I'm grateful for all of the exciting developments this past year:

  • Members of Scottish Parliament watched my recorded testimony about the DES drug disaster and are now calling for an apology. Click HERE to read the media coverage.

  • This past summer, I met with Congressman Jim McGovern about pursuing an apology for the DES drug disaster from the US Government, along with the restoration of funding for the DES Follow-Up Study. Congressman McGovern has since prepared a formal letter requesting these items. Stay tuned for more details.

  • BBC Radio 4 is interviewing me for a 30-minute documentary about the global DES tragedy. The documentary will be released in March 2023. I will be discussing my DES activism along with my screenplay WONDER DRUG.

  • Speaking of WONDER DRUG, I'm now a producer on the feature film along with Stephen Nemeth and Betsy Stahl of Rhino Films. Oscar-nominated director Matia Karrell is also on board with the film. Vanessa Hope is the film's Executive Producer and Fern Champion is Casting Director.

  • Last year, I won an open writing assignment (OWA) for a supernatural feature screenplay. Details can't be shared yet, but the film now has an incredible producing team and director attached to it. Casting will commence in 2023.

  • I won another feature screenwriting assignment this year and look forward to sharing details about that in 2023. (Everything is so secretive, isn’t it? My apologies!)

  • I’m partnering on writing/creating the TV series GAELS with Lynsey Murdoch (BBC Scottish Voices 2020), developed with financial assistance from the Scottish Government and the National Lottery through Creative Scotland and produced by Pirate Productions.

  • The Museum of the Moving Image interviewed me about my Sloan script WONDER DRUG. Read the full interview HERE.

  • My TV pilot FREE SKATE was chosen as an official selection of SeriesFest: Season Eight as part of the Pitch-A-Thon. They flew me out to Colorado, where I participated in an exclusive live pitch session with top television, new media and digital executives. To learn more, click HERE.

  • I was featured on “The Faces of Worcester,” a project focused on "the story of our community told through our people, one smiling face at a time.” Read the article HERE.

As always, thank you for your support!
